Report: Oregon Ducks move pair of defenders to RB in wake of injuries

By Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: The Oregon Ducks have been battling injuries through much of the season, with a handful of offensive stars missing time over the past few months during this run-up to the College Football Playoff. Now, as they prepare for the Peach Bowl rematch with the Indiana Hoosiers, injuries are popping up once again, particularly at the running back position.

True freshman RB Jordon Davison has been ruled out with a collarbone injury, and on Thursday night, veteran RB Noah Whittington popped up on the injury report as “questionable.”

On top of that, the Ducks have also seen the likes of Makhi Hughes, Jaydin Limar, and Jay Harris enter the transfer portal over the last couple of weeks, though Harris is available to play in this game, according to Dan Lanning.
