By Nick Kosko, On3 Sports: Arizona State forward Jayden Quaintance plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. He also underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL, per the report.
Quaintance, because he’s only 17, is not eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft. According to Givony, he’s a projected top-five pick for the 2026 NBA Draft. For now, he’ll explore his options after expecting to make a full recovery. Quaintance is expected to be cleared for contact by September.
He was the No. 1 overall prospect in the state, the No. 1 center in the class and the No. 7 overall prospect in the class.
