The Blue-Chip Ratio remains a predictive measure of which programs secured the weapons necessary to compete at the highest level of the sport, as it proves on an annual basis that only teams with a higher percentage of blue-chip players than not can win the national title.
Landing hordes of Top247 recruits is, thus, paramount in maintaining a status as a frontrunner in both the power conference and national landscapes.
Almost all of the top recruiting classes for the 2024 cycle featured at least one five-star commit, and each of them were loaded with Top247 talent with the potential to contribute early and develop into college football stars.
With many of this year’s top freshmen already on campus and the rest set to join their programs over the summer, teams have already gotten a firsthand look at how much their recruiting efforts paid off.
