By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: Sources indicate to WildcatAuthority that former Arizona Special Assistant to the Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator TJ Benson has been promoted to the assistant coach spot vacated by Riccardo Fois accepting a job with the Sacramento Kings.
Benson, a native of Tempe, Ariz., recently completed his third season at Arizona. He assisted with recruiting efforts and scheduling as well as some aspects of the preparation of scouting reports during the season.
