By Grant Hughes, Dawgman: The Los Angeles Rams are hiring former Washington Huskies head football coach Jimmy Lake to a spot on Sean McVay’s staff, according to a report Thursday by Tom Pelissero.
Lake’s title is unclear, but he has 16 years of experience as a defensive backs coach in college and the NFL. Rams defensive backs coach Jonathan Cooley left to take a job with the Carolina Panthers this offseason.
