QB Nico Iamaleava to return to the Bruins for 2026 football season

By Ryan Lorenz, UCLA Wire: UCLA Bruins redshirt sophomore quarterback Nico Iamaleava has reportedly re-signed with the program to stay for the 2026 season, according to Tracy McDannald of UCLAOn3.

The California native transferred last year to UCLA from the Tennessee Volunteers and it was a textbook disaster for the program. However, despite the chaos of complete coaching and roster overhaul, Iamaleava remained the Bruins’ best player with 1,928-passing yards for 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions, as well as 505-rushing yards for four touchdowns.
