247Sports: It seems as if the 2020 college football season is hanging on by a thread. But many forces are conspiring to stop college presidents from shutting down the sports.
After reports Sunday of multiple conferences seriously considering pulling the plug on the season, hundreds of athletes, coaches and administrators have come together to make a stand. The group also includes President Donald Trump, who tweeted out a “hype video” of sorts with the message “We Want To Play” accompanying it.
