By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: College football’s preseason AP top 25 rankings released Monday, an in-depth look at who voters feel are the teams to beat during the 2024 season. With College Football Playoff expansion making its debut, more teams will get a bite at the apple and with that, comes inflated opinions of potential contenders and a few underrated rankings to begin the new campaign.
The AP Poll will feature major changes after Week 1 considering the wide array of “good on good” matchups nationally, including several preseason top 25 teams playing away from home against quality competition.
