Penn State hires ex-Miami Hurricanes coach Manny Diaz as DC

By Harry Lyles, Jr., ESPN: Penn State announced the hiring of former Miami head coach Manny Diaz as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach on Saturday.

Diaz replaces Brent Pry, who was announced as Virginia Tech‘s new head coach on Nov. 30 after eight years at Penn State, serving six as defensive coordinator.

Manny Diaz, who was fired earlier this month as the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes, has been hired to be the defensive coordinator at Penn State.
