247Sports: Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott spoke publicly last night after the Pac-12 voted to begin a seven-game football season the weekend of Nov. 7. Due to a shortened schedule, many are wondering the conference’s chances at a possible berth in the College Football Playoff. Despite that, Scott sounded non-committal when asked about a possible expansion, and again said the playoff’s governing body has decided to stick with a four-team field.
ESPN SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum believes he should be going to bat a little more for his conference. Speaking on Friday’s edition of Get Up, Finebaum didn’t mince words.
