Pac-12 college football players threatened over the weekend to opt out of the 2020 season if demands in four key areas — health and safety protections, protect all sports, end racial injustice in college sports and society, and economic freedom and equity — are not met. Monday morning on JOX 94.5 in Birmingham, Alabama, ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum warned that the movement — if it gains momentum nationally — could pose an “existential threat” to the sport.
