By Barry Bolton, CougFan: Washington State athletic director Pat Chun this week told KQQQ Radio it’s “pretty clear” Washington State needs a long-term solution for the arena used by men’s and women’s basketball.
Former WSU President Elson Floyd used to talk wistfully about one day building a basketball complex and new arena, but until Chun’s comments Wednesday to Bill Weed and Evan Ellis it was believed WSU’s focus in hoops was largely on adding charter flights and updating current facilities.
