By Pac-12 Conference: The Pac-12 Board of Directors, in its first regular meeting of the 2021-22 academic year, unanimously agreed that each Pac-12 member university has the discretion to determine how it may offer education-related benefits on an individual institution basis, consistent with the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Alston v. NCAA and NCAA rules.
This decision is consistent with feedback provided by the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team as well as the broader Pac-12 Council.
