By Sam Hellman, 247Sports: Coach Dave Aranda and Baylor are close to a contract extension, reports Pete Thamel. Aranda, a trending name in the coaching carousel at spots like LSU, can expect a contract extension from the school “in the upcoming weeks,” Thamel said.
“Aranda has made it clear … that he plans to stay at Baylor in this coaching cycle.”
Thamel referenced a recent conversation with Joel Klatt in which Aranda expressed his passion for the Bears.
