By Steve Bartle, UteZone: The College Football Playoff transformed the sport nearly a decade ago. Since the formation of the CFP and it’s committee in 2014, the haves and have nots have grown further apart largely due to playoff success.
The Pac-12 Conference has been included in the final four just twice (Oregon in ’14 and Washington in ’16) and in the championship game once (Oregon in 2014). The Pac-12 is one of two (Big 12) Power Five conferences that have been unable to hoist a national title trophy.
