Duck Territory: In a year detached from normalcy, Oregon quarterback Tyler Shough will be heading back to some familiarity in the next week.
That’s made possible by the team’s bowl designation. As Oregon heads to his home state of Arizona to face No. 10 Iowa State in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2, Shough will be immersed in the surrounding area he grew up in for the first time since returning to Eugene this fall, and for the first time since then, he’ll be around family, as the bowl will allow immediate family to attend the game in Glendale — about 40 minutes from his family’s home in Chandler.
