Duck Territory: For the second consecutive week Oregon will open the first half without a starting safety. No disciplinary action exists. These players aren’t hurt either. It’s not even a positive COVID-19 testing or contact-tracing keeping them from playing in these first two quarters.
There was initially no flag thrown for the hit which saw Pickett’s helmet careen into Bell’s on initial contact. But after review, the Ducks were assessed a 15-yard penalty and Pickett was ejected from the contest.
