Oregon State guard Tariq Silver enters transfer portal, 2nd Beaver this week

By Nick Daschel, OregonLive: Ten days after Oregon State finished its first Elite Eight men’s basketball run in 39 years, the Beavers have lost their second player to the NCAA transfer portal.

Junior shooting guard Tariq Silver is leaving the program with the intention of transferring schools. Earlier this week, redshirt freshman guard Julien Franklin put his name into the transfer portal.

Silver played in 23 games as a reserve guard and averaged 1.6 points for the Beavers this season.
