Oregon guard Chris Duarte first ever Duck named finalist for Jerry West Award

OregonLive: Oregon’s Chris Duarte is a finalist for the Jerry West shooting guard of the year award.

Duarte is one of five finalists, joined by Gonzaga’s Joel Ayayi, Houston’s Quentin Grimes, Baylor’s MaCio Teague and Iowa’s Joe Wieskamp. He’s the first Oregon player to be a finalist for the award, which was won by Seton Hall’s Myles Powell last season.
