OregonLive: There was never a question whether freshmen linebackers Justin Flowe and Noah Sewell were going to play for Oregon this season, or even how quickly.

It’s a matter how drastic an impact the duo of former five-star recruits can have on a defense that was the second-best in the Pac-12 last season and has goals of being elite this fall.

Isaac Slade-Matautia is locked in as the starter at weak-side linebacker and Dru Mathis will most likely get the start at middle on Saturday, but Flowe and Sewell are Oregon’s long-term future at the position.
