Duck Territory: The Oregon Ducks have made a change in their player personnel department, elevating a recruiting staffer to a prominent position. Oregon Football announced on Friday afternoon that Don Johnson Jr. would be the program’s new Director of Player Personnel. Johnson has been with the Ducks for the past year as the Director of High School Relations in the recruiting department.
Johnson came to the Ducks in early 2020 and has been a major boost in Oregon’s recruiting department. A former high school coach in the Portland area, Johnson is currently the secondary recruiter for four of Oregon’s commitments in the 2021 signing class and helping lead the recruitments of a number of prospects in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 recruiting cycles.
