Duck Territory: The Oregon Ducks have officially announced the hire of Marcel Yates as the football program’s new secondary coach and passing game coordinator. Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal made the addition to complete the football staff for the 2021 season.
Last week, Duck Territory reported that Oregon was close to officially naming Yates as the hire to replace Keith Heyward in the secondary. Yates follows new Oregon defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter from California where both worked in 2020.
