Oregon DBs wearing boxing gloves in practice to cut down on penalties

By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: With cleaner coverage needed, Oregon’s defensive backs spent this week sporting boxing gloves in practice, head coach Dan Lanning told reporter following Wednesday’s practice.

The Ducks might’ve bested Maryland by 21 points over the weekend, but the 12 penalties, including seven for Maryland first downs, stuck in Lanning’s craw.
