NBC Sports Northwest: After Washington (3-1) could not field a team with 53 scholarship players for its game at Oregon (3-2) due to positive COVID-19 tests, the Huskies were crowned Pac-12 North Champions by default given they had the best conference record among the six division teams.
However, many have disputed the Huskies’ division title given Washington never played a road game, won just one game against another Pac-12 North foe, and did not play at Oregon in what would have been a de-facto Pac-12 North Championship Game.
