Oregon 'cautiously optimistic' as Don Johnson recovers from medical emergency

By Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: Earlier in the spring, the Oregon Ducks football team got a big scare when Don Johnson, the director of player personnel, suffered a medical emergency that landed him in the hospital.

Not much information about the situation has been reported publicly, but head coach Dan Lanning asked for support from the Oregon community, and an outpouring of thoughts and love for the coach came from social media, where fans offered strong words for the Ducks’ coach who is imperative to the football team.
