Duck Territory: The University of Oregon Board of Trustees voted and approved a new contract extension for current head football coach Mario Cristobal, Thursday morning in a teleconference meeting. The voting was unanimous to approve the new deal for Mario Cristobal.
With formal approval new secured, Cristobal’s new deal will run through January of 2026 and will be worth $24.1 million over those next five seasons. Cristobal’s new deal also includes an automatic extension that will kick in if the Ducks are to win the Pac-12 North or have a nine-win regular season. The extension would push Cristobal’s deal to 2027.
