Summer is the time of year when the clear frontrunners for the national recruiting title emerge as countless blue-chip prospects come off the board and bolster the sport’s most prolific classes. Wednesday’s Top247 update further distanced the blue-bloods from the pack with players like Keelon Russell and Dijon Lee (both Alabama commits) picking up fifth stars.
Schools like Oregon, Georgia and Michigan inched closer to pole position in the race for the top recruiting class during this busy period with commitments from numerous top-100 prospects.
