By Simon Gibbs, On3 Sports: Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator Dan Lanning was hired as the Oregon Ducks’ head coach while he still had unfinished business with the Bulldogs — and the second his national title run with Georgia ended, Lanning was ready to refocus his energy in Eugene.
Ironically, Oregon will open up the 2021 season against Georgia, Lanning’s former team in Georgia. But before Lanning can focus on opening day, he has plenty of questions to answer this offseason, starting with the running game.
