By Matt Howe, Duck Territory: Patrick Herbert, the younger brother of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, did not play the entirety of the 2020 college football season at Oregon due to an undisclosed injury. Herbert utilized a redshirt in 2019 and will be a redshirt sophomore in 2021.
On Thursday, Oregon offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead gave an update on Herbert’s status ahead of the 2021 season.
