By Dan Raley, Inside The Huskies: No official pronouncements have come from the sports network or the school, but knowledgeable University of Washington supporters say ESPN’s College GameDay show will be part of the Oct. 14 festivities for the UW-Oregon football game in Seattle.
Those in the know say consideration was even given to setting up the GameDay stage and network personalities on a barge on Lake Washington, but liability concerns over having students surround it in small boats scuttled that idea and will send the show to dry land.
