By Brandon Huffman, 247Sports: After going into effect in March of 2020, the NCAA’s temporary recruiting dead period lifts June 1 (In-person recruiting opens June 1), opening the floodgates for college coaches to, for the first time in 15 months, host prospective student-athletes from the classes of 2022 and 2023 — and in the case of five schools, a certain 5-star from the class of 2021.
That’s right: June brings the long-awaited official visit tour for Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau, the No. 1 overall player in the 2021 class.
