By Roman Tomashoff, Inside The Huskies: The name, image, and likeness deals continue to roll in for Michael Penix. After signing a deal with the local apparel company Simply Seattle in 2022, both sides have agreed to renew the partnership for the 2023 season.
The deal extends beyond just Penix, as Simply Seattle stated in a press release on Tuesday that the company signed a licensing agreement with the University of Washington which allows any athlete signed to an NIL deal with Simply Seattle to use the university’s name and logo on their official merchandise.
