By Zackary Armstrong, CougFan: Following Washington State’s seventh spring football practice on Tuesday, Nick Rolovich said the Cougar offense needs to “come back and correct some mistakes,” in its next session Thursday. WSU’s defensive backs in Martin Stadium on Day 7 seized the energy during one-on-one competitions with Cougar wide receivers, and during the 7-on-7 period.
“We’ll see a lot Thursday – see if the offense can come back and correct some mistakes and have more focus – understand what they are doing,” Rolovich said. “We have to get the little things right. I thought the defense had a helluva day in the competition periods. They are excited to play. Offensively, I did not feel that way as much as when we started, but get a chance to fix it on Thursday.”
