CougFan.com: Nick Rolovich after practice Friday said the Cougs’ internal quarterback decision earlier this week “sparked everyone to play better,” across the entire offense. Rolovich also said that the beginning of Friday’s practice was a rough start, but the Cougs came back strong and it ultimately ended with an improved effort.
Rolovich and WSU players have faced questions on the quarterback competition both before and after Rolovich let the team (but not the public) know who the starter was, and the first-year Cougar coach had said Wednesday he was not particularly happy with himself for letting the media know a decision was made.
