By Alex Byington, On3 Sports: Now that the 2024 NFL season is officially in the book following the Philadelphia Eagles‘ decisive 40-22 win over two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX from New Orleans, it’s time to look to the future.
And NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter didn’t waste time, unleashing an expansive three-round mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, where five first-round trades leads to four quarterbacks in the first 33 picks and seven total QBs through the first three rounds. That included the New York Jets, which recently decided to part ways with 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers, trading back into the bottom of Round 1 to select their next franchise QB.
