New UCLA football coach Bob Chesney named 2025 Sun Belt Coach of the Year

By Dylan McNeill, UCLA Wire: The James Madison Dukes will be playing for the Sun Belt Conference title on Friday but the Dukes got some awards for their strong season on Thursday. New UCLA head coach Bob Chesney was named the 2025 Sun Belt Football Coach of the Year.

Chesney’s award was well deserved, James Madison had the best record in the Sun Belt at 11-1, two games better than second place Old Dominion who went 9-3.
