New state ethics law could open more NIL chances for WSU's non-revenue teams

By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: NIL opportunities may become more readily available for athletes in Washington State’s non-revenue sports, WSU administrators and the chair of the largest collective supporting WSU athletes told Cougfan.com this week in a round table discussion.

An amendment to state ethics laws takes effect Thursday, allowing WSU and other public universities in Washington to work directly with and assist those organizations and companies involved in name, image, and likeness activities, such as the Cougar Collective.
