Nebraska hires Matt Rhule as program's new coach

By ESPN News Services: Nebraska has named Matt Rhule as the school’s new football coach, signing him to an eight-year contract.

Rhule, who was fired by the NFL’s Carolina Panthers in October, previously had successful stints in college football at Baylor and Temple. A news conference is scheduled for Monday.
