It is unlikely the 2024 college football season will see another upset-filled slate like last week, when seven ranked teams fell. However, Week 7 offers an exciting lineup of crucial conference matchups with significant implications for the postseason. And there are plenty of ranked teams in danger this Saturday.
Obviously the three top-25 showdowns headlined by Ohio State and Oregon, as well as the SEC debut of the Red River Rivalry take precedence, but there are numerous other games on the schedule that could deliver stunning upset results.
This weekend could present another opportunity for home underdogs, as undefeated teams like Iowa State and Penn State face challenging road trips in conference play. One thing is for certain: the national rankings are going to get another shake-up when Sunday comes around.
