More College Football Playoff expansion coming? What fans need to know

By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: The College Football Playoff expands to 12 teams this season and newly-crowned executive director Richard Clark is already fielding questions on the future of the postseason and a potential move to more entires in the near future. For now, the revenue distribution plan for the expanded playoff is settled through the 2026 season and the buzz around SEC Media Days is a potential move to 14 teams down the road.

Clark’s not ready to dive into that possibility just yet.

“I would not make that assumption, but what we know is that we’re going to make this 12-team as spectacular as we absolutely can,” Clark said Wednesday
