Sun Devil Source: Merton Hanks, the Pac-12’s new Senior Associate Commissioner for Football Operations, expressed a desire to see more of the conference’s officials perform well enough to be hired by the NFL during his Thursday afternoon ‘Zoom’ call with reporters that also including Arizona State Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson and Deputy Athletics Director Jean Boyd.




“We want to become the preeminent pipeline for NFL officiating,” Hanks said.
