The Huskies enter Year Two under Kalen DeBoer after a wildly successful 2022 season returning several key impact players, including QB Michael Penix, who figures to bring in Heisman hype leading into the season.

He can’t do it alone, however, and Washington is getting signs that the team around him will be enough to keep UW competitive in the Pac-12 landscape this year.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Roman Tomashoff, who covers Washington for Fan Nation at Sports Illustrated.

With the Spring Game giving an opportunity for snaps for so many players, it allows for players to stand out in the eyes of coaches in fans.

Roman shares three players whose performances may very well translate into more playing time this fall for DeBoer and his staff.
