USC under Lincoln Riley has (finally) brought in a new defensive coordinator, hiring D’Anton Lynn from UCLA.

The move comes two years too late for Caleb Williams to have had a shot to win a national championship in college before heading to the NFL.

On today’s episode of Locked On College Football, Spencer McLaughlin goes through the five best coaching hires this offseason.

Alabama landing Kalen DeBoer isn’t the only move that will work quickly and affect the CFB landscape in 2024.

Spencer is also joined by Alex Donno of ‘Locked On Canes’ to talk about QB Cam Ward committing to Mario Cristobal’s team.

Does Ward make Miami an ACC title contender in 2024 as Cristobal enters year 3?
