ESPN and the College Football Playoff have announced, though not formally signed, a 6-year media deal beginning in 2026 worth $7.8 billion.
The announcement did not give college football fans the most pertinent information for the future of the 12-team era, at least not yet.
On today’s episode of Locked On College Football, Spencer McLaughlin talks about the moves that the two remaining members of the “Pac-12” are making to stay alive.
Moving on from commissioner George Kliavkoff is another indication the league intends to remain viable in the future.
Louisville Football under Jeff Brohm had a wildly successful first year in 2023, going 10-4 and making the ACC Championship Game against Florida State.
They are set up for another strong season and should expect to go over their win total of 8.5 according to FanDuel.
