One question that commissioner George Kliavkoff has to consider is whether he should prioritize quantity or quality when looking at schools to add to the league.
On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I discuss the merits of a two-team vs. a four-team expansion for the league.
Adding Fresno State has some very real appeal, but would be more of a defensive move for the league, given the presence of Cal and Stanford.
Those aforementioned Bay Area schools are potentially at a crossroads when it comes to competing in the biggest sports in college athletics.
The next year or two could give us an indicator as to whether or not they will make the necessary investments.
