The June 30th deadline that doubled San Diego State’s exit fee to leave the Mountain West Conference has passed, and the outcome isn’t ideal.
The Aztecs have reversed course from their last statement and intend to remain in the Mountain West.
It’s not the last opportunity for the Aztecs to join the Pac-12, but it does provide another negative headline for Commissioner George Kliavkoff.
