The Pac-12 is sending a clear message on that front that is, frankly, right on brand.
Plus, rumors have popped up again of a different cable network partner being involved—the CW.
On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I react to the latest news on the media rights timeline again being delayed.
It doesn’t change the desire for Pac-12 Presidents to stay together rather than look at the Big 12.
The Pac-12 should expand, with San Diego State and SMU as its top two options, in conjunction with getting its new media deal.
The delay in completing the deal is unlikely to mean expansion teams would get announced sooner given one critical date.
