Not everyone had a rough week, with Oregon State and Arizona being the top “winners” from the weekend with convincing victories over Mountain West foes in Boise State and San Diego State.
Where did the rest of the teams stand, and who were some of the standout performers?
On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I label how each team performed in Week One of the 2022 college football season in the Pac-12.
Some were winners, some were losers, and some teams were somewhere in between.
Wherever a team fell in week 1, it’s vital to remember that the first week of the season is better suited for making observations rather than outright conclusions.
A lot can change in the next few months that, by the time it all transpires, could make this first week easy to put almost entirely out of our minds.
I conclude the show by looking at the conference’s best individual performers in the Pac-12 from over the weekend.
The pair of Jayden de Laura and Jacob Cowing were dynamic for Arizona and head coach Jedd Fisch, and the defense showed well.
What other singular standouts did we see in a weekend that had highs, lows, and everything in between across the Pac-12?
