By Spencer McLaughlin of Locked on CFB for SuperWest Sports
March 19, 2024
The Pac-12 can survive financially by getting a reduced CFP share for the next couple of years, but eventually, it will behoove Oregon State/Washington State to make or join a G5 conference.
That move does not have to be a FULL merger with the Mountain West—though that could still be on the table.
On today’s episode of Locked On College Football, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by ‘Locked On Sooners’ co-host Josh Helmer.
The Sooners, with a new offensive line and young QB in Jackson Arnold, have a massive Spring Football ahead of them for Brent Venables in year 3.
Penn State has 70% of their returning production according to ESPN’s Bill Connelly, along with a returning QB in Drew Allar who has a new offensive coordinator from Kansas’ great staff.
Their Big 10 Championship odds should not be as low as they are.
