The Pac-12, still waiting for its media deal, and the Big 12, which has not won a national championship in football since Vince Young’s 2005-06′ Texas team, have a tough path to reaching the summit in College Football given the shifting landscape.

So what would it actually take for them to get over the hump?

Spencer and I talk about what members of either conference have to do in order to compete at a national championship level.
